Join us in shaping digital sovereignty in Europe. **As a Customer Engineer, you are the technical spearhead and trusted advisor for our customers in Austria on their path toward a sovereign cloud future. You holistically accompany enterprises in transforming their existing IT infrastructures and workplace environments—such as Microsoft 365—into the STACKIT Cloud and Workspace by STACKIT. In doing so, you develop innovative migration concepts, safely lead complex projects through to Proof of Concept, and achieve the perfect balance between technological flexibility and full data control using open-source standards. As an expert at the interface between customer needs, sales, and product development, you deliver user-friendly solutions for tomorrow’s collaboration.** ### **Your Contribution** * **Architecture Consulting:** You analyze existing application landscapes and design future-proof target architectures based on container technologies and open standards. * **Migration Support:** You develop individual transformation strategies (re-platforming, refactoring) and demonstrate how existing workloads can be efficiently and securely migrated into the STACKIT Cloud. * **Open Source:** You advise customers on how to reduce dependencies and secure long-term technological freedom of choice through the use of open source (e.g., Kubernetes). * **Pre-sales:** You lead technical workshops, define the scope for PoCs, and ensure that proposed solutions are both economically and technically sustainable. * **Feedback:** You collaborate closely with our product teams to directly incorporate customer requirements into the further development of our services. * **Knowledge Transfer:** You create best practices and blueprints to empower our partners and customers to fully leverage the potential of our sovereign cloud. ### **Your Skills** * **Cloud Expertise:** You have solid experience in designing and operating cloud infrastructures (IaaS/PaaS). * **Expertise:** You are proficient with **Kubernetes** and possess deep understanding of cloud-native architecture principles. * **Transformation:** You have already supported migration projects and understand the challenges involved in transitioning between different infrastructure environments. * **Individual Knowledge:** Familiarity with SaaS solutions such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and open-source workplace solutions, as well as certifications in cloud computing (e.g., Google Workspace Certified). * **Communication Talent:** You can clearly convey complex topics—from business units through IT leadership to the architectural level. * **Solution Orientation:** You see yourself as a partner to our customers and enjoy pragmatically solving technically demanding challenges. * **Flexibility:** Willingness to travel within Austria for customer meetings and workshops. * **Languages**: Fluency in German and English is required to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams. **Our Benefits** ------------------- **Your Contact Person** ------------------------ ### **Larissa Blümich** Recruiter * E-Mail:recruiting@mail.schwarz
