SSMA Manager - Amyris Barra Bonita

### **Requirements:** * + Bachelor's degree in Engineering; + Postgraduate studies in occupational safety and environmental fields desirable; + Advanced/Fluent English; + Availability to work in Barra Bonita/SP; + Experience/knowledge in: Safety Programs for managing routine operations in factory, pilot plant and office environments; Portfolio Risk Management Program; State and Federal environmental regulations, as well as processes for obtaining operating licenses (LO) from CETESB; Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001; Regulatory Standards (NRs) from the Ministry of Labor and Employment. + Work experience in food, chemical and/or pharmaceutical industries. ### **Responsibilities:** * + Establish the company's safety, health, and environmental objectives and key results (OKRs); + Manage and control the execution of action plans and processes established by management; + Manage activities and teams within their area of responsibility, being accountable for operational planning and achieved results; + Manage, monitor, control, and execute activities related to workplace safety, ensuring compliance with safety standards, legislation, and regulations; + Monitor current and potential environmental issues across business units, and recommend priorities for addressing any deviations; + Promote the development and use of clean technologies and environmentally less harmful technologies, improve energy efficiency in processes, and implement reuse and recycling initiatives; + Ensure the Company’s strong performance regarding environmental preservation through systematic monitoring and evaluation of environmental performance across all Business Areas; + Identify inherent health/safety risks associated with company operations and establish guidance for proper employee protection; + Ensure compliance with mandatory external health/safety regulations and establish procedures for their implementation; + Monitor working conditions and safety trends, preparing periodic performance reports for relevant management teams, providing alerts in case of deviations; + Responsible for maintaining all health, safety, and environmental documentation properly archived on company servers for the legally required period and accessible to staff and managers.
