Forestry Machine Operator (Crane - Loading)

Job Summary: Safely operate forestry machinery to load wooden logs onto trucks, while maintaining equipment and following procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Daily inspection and preventive maintenance of machinery In this position, you will operate forestry machinery by driving and activating controls to safely load wooden logs onto transport trucks, adhering to procedures and ensuring the overall condition of equipment is maintained. **Responsibilities:** Load transport trucks with wood by transferring logs from stacks to transport trailers; Drive the equipment to the operation site and activate controls to perform necessary movements according to operational procedures, equipment capacity, and manufacturer recommendations; Protect company assets, cranes, and trailers by operating safely and with maximum attention to the loading grapple movements and log placement, thereby preventing damage to fleets and forestry machinery; Assess machine operating conditions through daily inspections to prevent incidents and potential operational or mechanical losses; Complete daily machine logs, recording data such as fuel consumption, hours worked, incidents, trailers loaded, etc.; Report mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electronic issues and incidents occurring during the work shift, as well as report any irregularities found on the machine so it can be sent to the workshop for repair. **Requirements:** Completed elementary education; Experience in eucalyptus loading operations in forestry.
