Every day presents an opportunity to do something new—and you can be part of it. **\#JoinVC** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Evaluate analysis results for raw materials, inputs, fuels, in-process products, and finished products, ensuring reliability, traceability, and accuracy of results; * Interface with other departments within the unit to drive continuous process improvement; * Plan and control quality department activities, monitoring and ensuring execution of procedures and technical standards; * Contribute to new product development by identifying alternative raw materials and inputs, balancing final product cost and quality; * Support budgetary control of the department; * Ensure maintenance of quality department certifications and contribute to implementation and maintenance of quality, safety, and environmental standards, as well as the company’s management systems; * Contribute to development and implementation of quality plans, metrology plans, and new investment plans for the Quality Department (CQ); * Support inventory control of laboratory consumables; * Maintain laboratory equipment and work environment; * Comply with existing company policies, procedures, and standards; * Train new employees in their roles and/or in technician and laboratory analyst functions; * Supervise and perform activities aimed at ensuring product quality and reliability, meeting Votorantim Cimentos’ required standards and systems; * Contribute to maintaining the company’s management systems (SSMA, 5S, VCPS, etc.); * Handle complex assignments—including studies, contributions to continuous improvement initiatives, and, when necessary, development and execution of Quality Department (CQ) action plans; * Support departmental budgetary control and identify alternatives to reduce quality control-related costs; contribute to department evolution by mapping and proposing new methodologies and controls. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Production Engineering. **Required Knowledge:** * Sampling techniques; * Good Laboratory Practices; * Basic knowledge of analytical techniques; * Cement knowledge (production and quality); * People management; * Metrology; * SAP; * SIM Portal; * PI System. **Additional Information** We value all forms of diversity and encourage you to learn more about this opportunity below.
