Ready to be part of this energy? \#VemSerMoura! . **Responsibilities and Duties** ***Your daily routine at Moura:*** At ITEMM, you will research and develop complex systems involving IoT device communication, cloud-based data storage, and presentation of insights derived from such data in web and mobile applications. For the specific role of Embedded Systems Researcher/Developer, you will be required to implement embedded software/firmware for electronic projects designed by the hardware engineering team. Additionally, you will: * Work on Research and Development (R\&D) projects in embedded systems, specifically as a firmware specialist, integrating auxiliary technologies (IoT, sensors/actuators, electronic/electrical circuits), ensuring developed products are functional, secure, reliable, and compliant with their requirements; * Support the technical upskilling of less experienced professionals; * Participate in solution development through studies, project planning, and technical specifications; * Contribute to validation of conducted studies by participating in laboratory and product qualifications, certifications, and homologations; * Help optimize internal processes through report analysis, control monitoring, study development, drawing preparation, calculation execution, equipment planning and development, and application design. **Requirements and Qualifications** ***What we’re looking for?*** ***Education:*** * Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. ***Knowledge:*** * **Electronics Fundamentals:** Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and device interfaces. * **Embedded Systems:** Familiarity with embedded systems concepts, including processors, peripherals, and memory. * **Datasheet Reading and Interpretation:** Ability to read and understand technical specifications of electronic components. * **Debugging and Testing:** Basic knowledge of embedded software debugging and testing techniques (Serial, J\-Link, OpenOCD); * **Low-Level Programming:** Experience in low-level programming, such as direct register access and code optimization, RTOS programming, Keil; Languages: C, C\+\+, Python; * **Processor Architectures:** Advanced knowledge of various processor architectures and their characteristics. * **Embedded Operating Systems:** Familiarity with embedded operating systems such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, etc. * **Communication Protocols:** Experience with at least two communication protocols, such as UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus; Firmware update protocols (OTA or USB/serial), etc. * **Driver Development:** Skills to develop drivers for peripherals and external devices (GPIO, ADC/DAC, timers, PWM). * **Agile Methodology:** Familiarity with agile management tools and practices: Jira, ClickUp, Trello; methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, OKR. ***You’ll stand out if you have:*** * Experience with Linux-based embedded systems (Yocto, Buildroot, OpenWrt); * Go programming language; * Nordic application development experience. **Additional Information** ***What we offer?*** In our Moura way of being, we believe people are the energy that drives the future.
