The **UNIG** is looking for an **AI Data Engineer** to design and sustain the data infrastructure that supports Artificial Intelligence initiatives within the institution. This professional will be responsible for structuring data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling efficient data usage for AI, analytics, and automation projects. If you enjoy transforming data into robust and scalable solutions, this opportunity is for you! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT); * Structure and optimize databases for use in AI and analytics projects; * Integrate diverse data sources (academic, administrative, and external systems); * Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance; * Support data scientists and AI teams in data preparation and delivery; * Work with large-scale data (big data), ensuring performance and scalability; * Implement data monitoring and validation routines; * Organize data lakes, data warehouses, and data architecture; * Document data processes and workflows; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build data-driven solutions. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in data engineering and pipeline development; * Proficiency in SQL; * Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages; * Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, etc.); * Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases; * Knowledge of data architecture (Data Lake, Data Warehouse); * Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP); * Analytical, organized, and results-oriented profile. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with data for Machine Learning or AI; * Hands-on experience with tools such as Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift; * Knowledge of data governance and data quality; * Experience with data versioning and CI/CD for data; * Experience in the education sector; * Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI). **Additional Information** * **Work Model:** On-site \- Nova Iguaçu * **Employment Type:** CLT Our commitment is to Education and our community.
