Job Summary: The Security Guard must ensure area security, monitor people and vehicles, and proactively act to protect lives and property, following procedures and providing assistance to superiors. Be responsible for the custody of materials and completion of documents Monitor the area to ensure site security, maintaining vigilance over the movement of people and vehicles. Carry out preventive actions to maintain post security. Conduct inspections within the post perimeter. Maintain a firm yet courteous demeanor toward customers and their staff. Provide any information or assistance requested by the immediate supervisor. Act overtly to promote the security of people, facilities, and materials, deterring and preventing actions harmful to the client’s interests—whether criminal or not—while complying with legal requirements. Follow instructions and procedures established for the assigned post. Prepare daily shift/post reports as stipulated by the company. Assume responsibility for the custody of assigned materials (firearms, documentation, and post equipment). Complete documents required to perform duties (e.g., guard logbook and time card). In case of an incident, act proactively according to established procedures, safeguarding one’s own life and the property under one’s responsibility. Other activities inherent to the role. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION: Completed or ongoing high school education. Valid Security Guard Training Course. Computer literacy. Availability to work flexible hours.
