Carry out low-complexity chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses of raw materials, inputs, and finished products; prepare standard solutions; maintain records and controls of test results; reject and/or approve product batches; contribute to inventory control of materials and reagents to be used; monitor the start-up of production at the factory; collect samples; clean and sanitize materials and glassware; and record and control performed tests. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist in the collection, preparation, and chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis of products according to predefined procedures, aiming for reliability and accuracy in generating results for the Quality Department. * Contribute to sample collection using laboratory procedure standards, as well as assist in the physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of products and raw materials using laboratory procedure standards, aiming to obtain results supporting decision-making for product release. * Assist in verifying calculations from performed analyses and record analytical results in specific spreadsheets and/or forms, entering information into computerized systems. * Record physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis results—previously analyzed and approved—in specific spreadsheets and files for each product or material, to inform the Quality Department of the obtained results. * Participate in tasks related to supplier visits and evaluations, and keep relevant documentation updated to ensure an appropriate supplier qualification process. * Support and perform, under supervision, studies, simulations, and general analyses related to alternatives for modifications and adjustments in performed activities. * Contribute to maintaining equipment and work instruments in perfect working condition and properly organized, performing cleaning and correct storage. * Assist in metrological verification of equipment affecting quality, ensuring measurements comply with procedure standards. * Organize and control calibration and verification records for laboratory equipment influencing quality. * Contribute to waste disposal tasks arising from performed analyses, following current procedures. * Report deviations in results to the immediate manager, triggering a laboratory investigation, verifying issues, and presenting resolution alternatives. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education and currently enrolled in a Technical Chemistry program or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields. * Active CRQ (Regional Council of Chemistry registration) Desirable * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) * Food Safety (HACCP) * Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) * Quality awareness based on 5S principles * NR 20: Flammable Liquids * NR 25: Industrial Waste * Basic Microsoft Word and Excel **Additional Information** We take the well-being of Our People very seriously!
