




Manage the library by overseeing the entire collection and information flow of the department, as well as creating mechanisms to enliven and brighten the environment, while also maintaining a quiet atmosphere for studying and completing assignments. Encourage reading habits among students and teachers by proposing new projects and initiatives. * Ensure the quality of the collection by performing maintenance through proper cleaning and organization. * + Assess book purchasing needs by analyzing gaps between the current and required collections. + Register, classify, catalog, and update the system used for organization and control. + Assist students and teachers with borrowing, returning, and consulting materials, answering questions and providing references. + Develop reading promotion projects by creating campaigns related to classroom topics and storytelling sessions. + Improve the arrangement of books and overall organization of the department whenever necessary. + Monitor the entry and exit of books from the Library. + Maintain constant contact with the pedagogical materials used. + Provide information for dissemination on the School's social media regarding library-related topics: reading suggestions, activities carried out, themes requested by the school community, etc. + Establish a bridge between classroom content and student experience by incorporating new references that help students recognize the applicability of knowledge. + Introduce students to new learning platforms (applications, websites, Facebook pages, Instagram, YouTube channels), assisting them in discovering new tools and sources of information. + Safeguard the physical integrity of books and oversee their restoration. + Define the Library's operating policies in alignment with the School Administration, including operating hours and book return deadlines. + Present new literary releases, authors, entrance exam updates, etc., to students. + Submit reports to the Administration regarding activities performed in the department, service quantity and quality: loan statistics, delays, purchase requests, and adjustments needed. + Conduct weeding and disposal of collection items unsuitable for use, after approval by the Administration. + Contribute to students' academic performance during their time in the Library for studying or completing assignments. + Conduct classroom visits to draw students' and teachers' attention to the importance of reading, research, authors, and works, with prior scheduling. + Schedule tutoring sessions for morning students during the afternoon and supervise their departure afterward. + Check the electronic calendar daily to respond to or send messages to students, parents, and guardians, and stay informed about institutional announcements. + Participate in events, courses, training sessions, and meetings whenever requested or initiated personally, provided authorization is granted by the Administration, aiming at professional development. + Fully comply with working hours and scheduled shifts. + Maintain and promote a cooperative work environment with colleagues, students, parents, and other segments of the school community.
