Job Summary: A professional responsible for the installation, configuration, preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber optic networks, using specialized equipment and preparing technical reports. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and configuration of fiber optic networks. 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber optic networks. 3. Conducting certification tests and splicing of fiber optic cables. ***FIBER OPTIC TECHNICIAN*** **Basic Requirements** * Completed high school education; * Valid driver's license (AB); * Basic knowledge of fiber optic networks; * Willingness to travel; **Responsibilities** * **Responsibilities:** * Install and configure fiber optic networks in accordance with established technical and quality standards. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber optic networks, identifying and resolving connectivity and performance issues. * Conduct network certification tests using specialized equipment such as OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), power meter, and fusion splicer. * Perform splicing and termination of fiber optic cables, ensuring high-quality connections with minimal signal loss. * Prepare technical reports detailing performed activities, including installations, maintenance tasks, and repairs. .
