Description
Responsibilities:
1\. Ensure Compliance with Food Regulations:
* Ensure the company complies with ANVISA (National Health Surveillance Agency) regulations and/or other applicable regulatory standards.
* Prepare product labels in accordance with current legislation.
2\. Product Documentation and Records:
* Write, update, and maintain all required documentation in an organized manner, according to requirements set by competent authorities and/or customers.
3\. Management of Certifications and Licenses:
* Ensure all certifications and licenses remain valid and up to date.
* Coordinate renewal processes for licenses and/or certifications.
4\. Supplier Selection and Evaluation:
* Ensure suppliers comply with food safety standards by verifying quality certifications such as ISO, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and others, and by conducting audits/technical visits.
5\. Raw Material Control:
* Request microbiological test reports, technical data sheets, and product specifications.
* Develop technical specifications for raw materials.
* Address quality-related nonconformities directly with suppliers.
6\. Supplier Performance Monitoring:
* Establish and monitor quality performance indicators for suppliers, such as on-time delivery, product quality, problem resolution efficiency, nonconformance rate, batch returns, and response time for corrective actions.
7\. Communication and Supplier Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate prompt communication and rapid problem resolution.
8\. Supplier Training and Capacity Building:
* Organize training sessions for suppliers on company-required standards and essential Good Manufacturing Practices for producing safe and high-quality food products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or related fields;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Relevant work experience.
