Perform activities related to installation, configuration, and updating of operating systems, services, and packages. Carry out continuous performance monitoring, apply patches, automate routine tasks, manage users and permissions, and resolve medium- to high-impact incidents. Support the implementation of improvements, system hardening, and provide assistance for virtualized environments, containers, and cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with development, networking, and security teams to ensure proper operation of corporate Linux environments. **Administer and optimize Linux servers** in critical corporate environments. **Implement and maintain infrastructure services**, such as web servers, *databases*, DNS, and DHCP. **Manage virtualization platforms**, focusing on high availability. **Configure and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions**. **Perform Docker container deployment and management**. **Linux Distributions and Kernel:** Experience with CentOS Stream, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu Server, and Debian. Must possess knowledge of kernel management, *tuning*, and *boot* troubleshooting. Network and infrastructure service administration, including Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, SSH, FTP/SFTP, NFS, and Samba/CIFS. Administration via PAM, LDAP, and integration with Active Directory, plus password policy and sudo management. Configuration and maintenance of network security tools, such as **firewalld, fail2ban, SELinux, and AppArmor**. Virtualization and Containers• **Hypervisors:** Advanced hypervisor administration, specifically **Proxmox Virtual Environment**, Cluster configuration, shared *storage*, and *live migration* (real-time virtual machine migration). Knowledge of Docker (image creation and *docker\-compose*) and basic orchestration concepts using **Kubernetes** (pods, services, ingress, volumes). Backup and Recovery• **Backup Strategies:** Experience with strategies such as rsync, tar, dump/restore, and use of LVM/ZFS *snapshots*. Execution of recovery procedures and *restore* testing. **Tools:** Advanced usage of monitoring tools such as **Zabbix and Grafana**. **Performance Analysis:** Use of tools such as top, htop, iostat, sar, vmstat, netstat, and ss for performance analysis.
