Job Summary: Professional responsible for thermal and mechanical metal cutting operations, part preparation and control, with focus on safety and equipment maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Thermal and mechanical cutting operations 2. Interpretation of simple technical drawings 3. Commitment to sector safety and organization **MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **1\. Thermal Cutting (Torch) Operations:** * Perform manual cutting on steel plates and profiles using oxy-fuel cutting torches. * Heat parts for straightening or basic forming. * Perform rough edge cleaning and beveling after cutting. **2\. Mechanical Cutting (Band Saw) Operations:** * Operate band saws to cut beams, tubes, and profiles according to Production Order (PO) specifications. * Adjust cutting angles on the band saw for square assembly. **3\. Preparation and Control:** * Interpret simple drawings and sketches for measurement marking (basic layout). * Verify dimensions of cut parts using tape measures and squares. * Replace gas cylinders, cutting nozzles, and band saw blades. **4\.
