Job Summary: Occupational safety professional responsible for identifying hazards, implementing occupational health and safety (OHS) policies, inspecting workplaces and equipment, and investigating accidents. Conducting training sessions and educational campaigns Brazilian Association of Education, Health, and Social Assistance is seeking: OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY TECHNICIAN (PCD) RESPONSIBILITIES \- Identify hazards in workplaces and propose preventive measures; develop and implement occupational health and safety (OHS) policies. Inspect facilities, installations, and equipment, assessing working conditions to ensure employee safety. Manage and supply personal protective equipment (PPE), instructing employees on proper usage. Investigate workplace accidents, issuing reports detailing causes and recommendations to prevent recurrence. Conduct training sessions and educational campaigns on accident prevention, PPE usage, fire suppression, first aid, etc. Monitor compliance with regulatory standards (NRs) and other legal requirements. Issue the Work Accident Communication (CAT) when necessary. Participate in the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), advising and supporting the commission in its activities. Participate in internal and external audits, assisting in data collection and corrective actions. Support technical expertise assessments and inspections.
