Field team support in challenging terrains **PREREQUISITES:** * Completion of elementary education required; * Availability for rotating shifts: 5x2 or 21x2; * Willingness to travel and stay away from home; * Residence in the Gravataí region; residence in Porto Alegre is a plus; * Proficiency in operating wheeled or tracked tractors and related machinery; * Dexterity and precision in machine and equipment operation; * Experience with backhoes or truck-mounted cranes. **Work Schedule:** Availability for the following shift patterns: \- 5x2 (Monday to Friday) – For candidates residing in the city where the project is located or in adjacent cities; \- 21x2 – For candidates residing farther from the project site, within the state of Rio Grande do Sul; \- 90x10 – For candidates residing in other states. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, compactors, cranes, crawler tractors, and rock drills, adhering to standard operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical infrastructure activities. Perform minor excavations for installation of cable ducts and pre-fabricated materials using smaller equipment such as mini backhoes or skid-steer loaders, in compliance with technical specifications. Lift loads using tractors equipped with winches, observing operational limits and safety regulations to correctly position materials and components. Install cables via drag method using tractors, according to project planning, to ensure proper transmission network installation. Transport waste materials within the construction site perimeter using appropriate equipment to maintain site organization and cleanliness per environmental regulations. Assist in preparing foundations, platforms, access routes, and bases for poles, towers, and structures, following technical instructions to ensure stability and compliance of installations up to 500 kV. Clear right-of-way corridors and open access routes using tractors and specialized attachments, as specified in the work plan, to enable safe vehicle and equipment traffic. Handle cargo using hydraulic equipment such as truck-mounted cranes and cranes, complying with operational procedures to meet on-site logistical requirements. Operate rock drilling equipment (Rock Drill), following technical instructions, to facilitate excavation in highly resistant terrain. Support field teams in activities requiring excavation or heavy material handling, especially in hard-to-access areas, to ensure uninterrupted progress of work fronts. Correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), as well as specialized tools, to safeguard personal and team safety and preserve equipment integrity. Carry out tasks in accordance with applicable standards and procedures; when necessary, perform non-routine tasks following completion of a Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) to mitigate operational risks. Drive company vehicles in compliance with established norms and procedures, ensuring appropriate and responsible use of vehicles, machines, and equipment under one’s responsibility. Conduct daily operational inspections of equipment, verifying functionality and safety conditions, reporting faults, and requesting preventive or corrective maintenance to ensure operational continuity.
