Job Summary: Professional responsible for assembling, welding, and repairing metal structures, interpreting technical drawings and complying with quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Assembly and welding of metal parts and structures 2. Repair of damaged metal structures and reinforcements 3. Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications Metalworker \- Receive and sort materials required for part assembly, such as metal bars, tubes, and sheets. • Operate saws, drills, and welding equipment. • Weld and join metal parts according to project specifications. • Install the structures. * Repair damaged metal structures due to corrosion, wear, or other damage; perform structural reinforcements and painting. • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, project details, and required measurements. • Cut and repair cast steel test specimens for weld analysis, hardness testing, and metrology. • Comply with procedures and policies of the quality management system and compliance requirements. Minimum incomplete high school education; completion is desirable. • Experience in responsibilities outlined in this job posting. • Experience with MIG and MAG welding. • Welding certification. * Reside in Gravataí, Alvorada, Cachoeirinha, or Viamão, according to the shuttle route.
