Your day-to-day at Medtronic * Lead planned transformations within the Medtronic Performance System program through plans outlined in the Strategic Plan, Annual Actions, and Individual Objectives set by management; * Coordinate the tiered communication program and problem escalation; * Problem solving, daily calculation and dissemination of production KPI results; * Support Quality Engineering in preparing Test Request Reports, sample collection for testing, Work Standardization, and developing Work Instructions; * Conduct production time studies, input data into Excel spreadsheets, propose system improvements, and train new employees on tasks as needed; * Lead and support continuous improvement or cost reduction projects listed in the Project Hopper or in the company’s Idea Program initiatives via Kaizen events, contributing to improved production- and Engineering-related KPIs; * Participate in and lead Kaizen events across various areas, organizing teams and applying Lean techniques; * Manufacturing support for targeted improvements identified by the team; * Coordinate problem-solving analyses using A3 and other quality tools whenever requested; * Ability to apply statistical tools for process improvement and validation of results—or to facilitate decision-making; * Capable of leading projects with organization, task- and deadline-tracking software, and forming productive teams to achieve objectives; * Follow standards and guidance defined by your immediate supervisor, adhering to responsibilities outlined for your position in the Quality Manual and Quality documents; * Follow guidelines and processes outlined in the Safety, Medicine, and Environment Manual. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; * Intermediate-level English; * Basic-level Spanish; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP); * Green Belt certification.
