Job Summary: The professional performs fieldwork in mechanical and chemical mineral processing operations, ensuring operational stability, product quality, and supporting the development of operators. Support for the development of Operators I and II. **Job Summary:** Performs fieldwork in crushing, grinding, gravimetric separation, gravimetric concentrators, screening, intensive leaching, monitoring ore feed and discharge from grinding, screening, pumping, cycloning, elution, CIL, DETOX, filtration, and other equipment; conducts inspections on the aforementioned equipment; maintains equipment cleanliness in the work environment. Complies with all trained norms and procedures, performing all activities related to Mechanical and Chemical Processing. Pursues operational stability, safety, product quality, and achievement of performance indicators, working with technical autonomy and supporting the development of Operators I and II. **Job Responsibilities:** **Crushing:** * Interface with Mine Operators (crushing feed, blended feed, stockpile placement); * Operation of all equipment (hopper, vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, belt conveyor, scrap extractor, metal detector, emergency switches, tear switches, speed sensor, scale, and other equipment); * Reports to Supervisor for decision-making, proactively identifying potential issues such as ore shortage, jamming, overload, energy isolation; crusher calibration; **Grinding:** * Operate and monitor ore feed and discharge from grinding equipment in the field; fully responsible for the entire grinding area; * Collect samples at mill feed and discharge; perform scale drop tests; support roller replacement; clean load cell filters of scales. * Operate and monitor gravimetric circuit (gravimetric concentrators, basket cleaning, inspection, water filter cleaning, area inspection); * Inspect equipment including pumps, screens, cyclones, and mills; * Clean the area manually using hand tools (shovel, hoe, wheelbarrow); * Clear obstructions in ore transfer chutes; **CIL/Leaching/DETOX:** * Sample collection (pulp density, pH, oxygenation, carbon profile, soluble gold sample, cyanide titration); * Carbon handling and carbon production; * Starting and stopping agitators and pumps; * Tank drainage; * Cleaning of containment basins; **Elution:** * Control of temperature, pressure, flow rate, and time; * Cleaning and replacement of heat exchangers and strainers; * Boiler operation; * Operation and sample collection (control of electrolysis inlet and outlet – electrolytic cells); * Control and operation of acid washing; * Sample titration (cyanide, soda ash, hydrochloric acid); * Interface with all departments – transfer of enriched and exhausted carbon; * Area cleaning and organization (5S); **Filtration:** * Filtration operation; * Thickener operation (torque control, RACK, density, reagent dosing); * Pump operation control, startup and shutdown; * Moisture content control; * Direct interface with all departments (ensuring UF operation); * Handover of equipment to Maintenance according to scheduled shutdowns; * Support for Maintenance and shutdowns, including corrective actions; * Belt conveyor operation; **Technical Competencies:** * Desired knowledge across all mineral processing areas (beneficiation); * Solid knowledge of mineral beneficiation processes in three or more of the above-mentioned areas; * Ability to anticipate potential problems; * Identify creative solutions to problems, plan and implement such solutions; * Capability to read and interpret process variables; * Practical experience in production areas. **Required Behavioral Competencies:** * Teamwork * Creativity * Adaptability * Good communication * Proactivity * Confidentiality * ACTIVE CARE (Care for Self, Care for Others, and Allow Being Cared For) Availability to work on shift schedule.
