Materials Technician

Job Summary: Professional to work in a warehouse, performing material receipt, storage, inventory control, distribution, and documentation management. Key Highlights: 1. Documentation management and safety SERENG is an engineering company specialized in Projects, Consulting, Management, Technical Support, and Asset Management (Maintenance), operating across diverse industrial sectors! **Responsibilities and Duties** Material Receipt * Verify received materials against invoices, purchase orders, and technical specifications. * Check item integrity and report irregularities. Storage and Organization * Identify and classify materials according to type, usage, and frequency. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, adhering to safety and ergonomic standards. Inventory Control * Record receipts and issues in the system (SAP, TOTVS, Excel, or other). * Conduct periodic inventories (cyclic or full) to reconcile physical stock with system records. * Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking. Material Distribution * Track deliveries and ensure correct routing to departments. Documentation Management * Maintain up-to-date records of receipts/issues, invoices, requisitions, and control reports. * Support audit and compliance processes. Supplier and Internal Team Coordination * Assist in return, exchange, and non-conformance processes. * Interact with procurement, maintenance, production, and safety departments. Material Custodianship and Safety * Comply with specific storage regulations (chemicals, flammables, PPE, etc.). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education (technical course in Logistics, Administration, or related fields preferred). * Prior experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics. * Knowledge of inventory control and inventory-taking procedures. **Additional Information** * Health insurance; * Life insurance; * Meal allowance; * Transportation; * Wellhub (GYMPASS) membership.
