Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical assets OPERATIONAL COORDINATOR – ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE – DISPATCH **–** ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION **– PLANT** **PREFERENTIAL POSITION FOR BLACK PEOPLE** **Want to learn more about this opportunity?** **CD (Available Position) No.: 1094943** **Number of Positions: 01** **Education: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.** **Location: Canaã dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil** **Working Hours: Night shift, 06:00 to 18:00** **Contract Type: Indefinite-term** **Application Period: March 09, 2026 to March 13, 2026** **Required Qualifications:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering disciplines * Solid experience in people management * Solid experience in industrial electrical maintenance within continuous-operation environments (preferably mining, steelmaking, oil & gas, or heavy industry) * Proven experience managing technical maintenance teams, including leadership of operational teams * Hands-on experience executing and managing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical assets * Experience maintaining medium- and high-voltage electrical systems **Desirable Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree or specialization in People Management, Maintenance Management, Maintenance Engineering, or related areas * Experience in mining or mineral processing industrial operations * Advanced knowledge of electric drive systems and frequency inverters * Experience managing maintenance of critical assets in industrial plants * Experience in equipment failure analysis and reliability assessment * Experience managing maintenance KPIs (availability, reliability, adherence to maintenance plans) * Knowledge of maintenance service contract management * Intermediate English proficiency **Job Responsibilities and Activities:** Responsible for ensuring quality and standardization of automation maintenance activities to safeguard asset integrity, aligned with Vale’s management model, focusing on supporting preventive and corrective maintenance teams to meet performance indicators and metrics. * Technical lead for the electrical discipline, providing matrix support across plant sub-processes to assist preventive and corrective maintenance teams, ensuring asset reliability and availability.
