Its main responsibilities include implementing company internal guidelines and standards to ensure safe operation and equipment maintenance. In addition, the area conducts constant audits and inspections, focusing on safety, quality and efficiency. Another highlight is the supervision of automation and electrical systems, using advanced technologies such as electrical substation automation, which increase safety and productivity. It is also responsible for designing and organizing maintenance activity workflows, optimizing resources and preventing unexpected shutdowns to maximize operational efficiency. POSITION 2 \- FOR STUDENTS IN MECHANICAL AND PRODUCTION ENGINEERING Maintenance Management: Ensuring the operation of machines and systems such as belt conveyors, feeders, screens, crushers, and stacking circuits, with focus on failure repair. Mechanical Maintenance of TCLD (Long-distance conveyor circuit) and Crushing II in Serra Sul: Performing mechanical and hydraulic maintenance activities, ensuring proper equipment functioning and carrying out corrective actions. Monitoring Indicators and Reports: Tracking performance indicators and preparing maintenance reports to monitor system status and performance. Improvements and Proactive Tools: Implementing continuous improvements and participating in proactive tool programs to optimize maintenance processes. Failure Analysis and MCS (Reasons, Causes and Solutions): Analyzing recurring failures and participating in implementation. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Assisting in planning and scheduling maintenance activities, focusing on efficiency and reducing unplanned downtime. POSITION 3 \- FOR STUDENTS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING Vale's Discarded Materials Center (CMD) is responsible for waste management within the mining company. Its role is crucial in preventing negative environmental impacts and promoting sustainability through the constant improvement of internal and external processes, aiming for efficient and proper waste disposal.
