Responsibilities and Duties Your day-to-day will include: * Leading the organization's Data and Artificial Intelligence strategy, with a focus on transforming the company into a data-driven organization. Establishing scalable, sustainable, and business-aligned capabilities enabling strategic use of data and AI for decision-making, innovation, and competitive advantage. * Developing and executing a comprehensive Data and AI strategy aligned with organizational priorities. * Defining high-impact AI use cases for the business. * Structuring data science and AI capabilities—including talent, tools, and organizational culture. * Advancing data engineering to support emerging techniques such as Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, and Synthetic Data. * Guiding advanced analytics teams to ensure alignment among data flows, platforms, and analytical needs. * Aligning Data and AI talent strategy with corporate priorities, ensuring appropriate competencies to deliver measurable value. * Defining roles, skills, and training programs required to sustain a data-driven culture. * Promoting a data and AI culture across business and technology functions. * Managing budget and resources to scale AI capabilities—including data engineers, data scientists, and supporting roles. * Developing and implementing an AI development program, focused on various organizational personas. Requirements and Qualifications What you need: * Proven experience leading AI and data initiatives in corporate environments. * Knowledge of data architecture, machine learning, generative AI, and modern data engineering. * Ability to translate technical strategies into business value. * Capacity to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments. * Strategic vision, organizational influence, and results orientation. Strategic Pillars: * Data Governance: Robust policies and frameworks for data quality, privacy, security, and compliance—aligned with organizational and regulatory standards. * Technology Architecture and Infrastructure: Scalable and secure environments (cloud, on\-premises, or hybrid), equipped with modern tools for data processing, storage, and analytics. * Cross-Functional Team: A diverse group of specialists in data science, data engineering, AI, MLOps, governance, and business strategy to foster interfunctional collaboration. * Frameworks and Methodologies: Adoption of agile practices, machine learning pipelines, DevOps/MLOps principles, and standardized development protocols to ensure efficiency and reproducibility. * Data and Model Asset Catalog: A centralized repository of datasets, predictive models, algorithms, and reusable APIs to accelerate innovation and ensure consistency. * Experimentation and Deployment Platforms: Controlled environments for testing, validating, and deploying AI solutions—with continuous performance and risk monitoring. * Value and Impact Management: Clear metrics to measure ROI, business impact, and analytical maturity—ensuring strategic alignment and sustained value delivery. You’ll enjoy flexibility with our hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 remote). This position is based in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.
