Do you want to be part of something truly great while learning extensively, in an environment grounded in ethics, commitment, appreciation, and respect for people? **Then \#JoinEconomart!** ### **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Coordinate the operational routine of the fresh produce department, ensuring product supply, display, and quality * Supervise receipt, inspection, storage, and organization of the department’s perishable products * Monitor product expiration dates and conditions, properly segregating and disposing of items unfit for consumption * Ensure correct pricing, standardization, and presentation of fruit, vegetable, and greens displays * Implement loss, breakage, and inventory control measures for the department * Manage the team of associates, providing guidance, training, and task assignment * Prepare work schedules, monitor attendance and productivity * Enforce hygiene, cleaning, and food safety standards * Support promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and restocking of fast-moving merchandise * Maintain communication with the procurement department to align product assortment and supply ### **Therefore, we require that you have:** * Prior experience in fresh produce or perishables within retail or wholesale * Knowledge of handling, storage, and preservation of fruits, vegetables, and greens * Skills in team management and loss control * Availability to work on a 6x1 rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays * Organizational skills, proactivity, and results orientation ### **Bonus Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required):** * Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in related fields * Familiarity with management systems such as Consinco, SAP, or similar * Experience with performance indicators and BI tools ### **Work Schedule:** 6x1 rotating schedule (one day off per week and two Sundays off per month) ### **What You’ll Find at Economart:** * Market-competitive salary * Fuel card * Meal card * Morning and afternoon coffee breaks * SESC membership benefits * Professional growth opportunities
