Job Summary: Operate roller compactors on civil construction sites to ensure surface quality and stability according to technical specifications and engineering instructions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate roller compactors in various compaction activities 2. Conduct daily inspections of the equipment and maintain its condition 3. Support the construction team and comply with safety regulations Operate roller compactors on civil construction sites to compact soil, subbases, and asphalt pavements, ensuring surface quality and stability according to project technical specifications and engineering team instructions. * Operate roller compactors for soil, crushed stone, gravel, and asphalt mixture compaction; * Conduct daily equipment inspections before commencing work, verifying operational and safety conditions; * Perform compaction according to instructions from the site supervisor or responsible engineer; * Maintain equipment condition and cleanliness, reporting requirements for preventive or corrective maintenance; * Comply with occupational safety regulations and correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); * Support the construction team in related tasks when necessary; * Remain attentive to terrain conditions and to personnel and equipment movement at the construction site. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary education (preferred). * Proven experience operating roller compactors on construction sites. * Heavy machinery operator training course (preferred). * Valid driver’s license class C, D, or E. * Basic knowledge of equipment preventive maintenance.
