All applications must be submitted exclusively through our official channels. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Fully manage underground mine operations, ensuring personnel safety, operational continuity, and delivery of the production plan; * Ensure operational discipline; * Govern adherence to the production plan, monitoring and addressing deviations; * Lead SSTMA (Safety, Health, Environment, and Community) management topics, ensuring compliance and critical controls; * Manage OPEX, CAPEX, and contracts for areas under responsibility, ensuring budgetary discipline and cost efficiency; * Define goals, deploy strategies, and direct action plans for coordinators, ensuring execution, performance, and leadership development; * Manage headcount and productivity of both internal and contracted teams, ensuring operational coverage and critical competencies; * Guide and monitor testing of new equipment and recommend improvements/fleet renewal to enhance safety, productivity, and reliability; * Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, corporate standards, and audit requirements; * Govern mine infrastructure activities; * Report plans, activities, results, and risks to the Executive Board via managerial reports and KPIs; * Perform other related duties as required and per company guidelines. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites and Qualifications:** * Degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, with active registration in the respective professional council. * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Management, Mining Engineering, or related disciplines; * Solid experience in **underground mining operations**; * Experience managing teams and contracts, costs, and operational KPIs; * Experience operating in highly complex mining environments. * Driver’s license Category B. * Willingness to reside in Nova Xavantina/MT. **Additional Information** * Competitive salary * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Private pension plan * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * On-site meals (at operational units) * Meal voucher (at offices) * Food allowance * Transportation assistance * Quality-of-life program * Gympass – Wellhub * Extended maternity and paternity leave (Citizen Company certification) * Club membership agreement \- may vary by location * Eyeglass purchase assistance for family members #### **We are ERO, one of Brazil’s leading producers of copper and gold.** **We belong to a global group headquartered in Canada with a strong presence in Brazil.
