Equipment verification and calibration **Job Description:** A professional responsible for conducting and controlling technological tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt mixtures in road construction projects, ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used with current technical standards and contractual requirements. **Responsibilities:** * Perform laboratory and field tests on soils, crushed stone, concrete, and asphalt according to ABNT, DNER, and DNIT standards; * Collect material samples in the field, record test results, and maintain records of all conducted tests; * Support on-site technological quality control by issuing monitoring reports and test certificates; * Verify and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper operation; * Assist the responsible engineer in interpreting test results and providing technical recommendations; * Comply with laboratory safety regulations and best practices. **Requirements:** * Technical education in Building Construction, Highways, Civil Engineering, or related fields; * Proven experience in a technological quality control laboratory for road construction projects; * Knowledge of material testing standards and procedures (DNER, DNIT, ABNT); * Ability to organize work, record data, and prepare reports; * Willingness to travel and work on-site. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with asphalt mixtures and plant control; * Basic knowledge of statistical quality control; * Familiarity with testing record software or advanced spreadsheets for quality control.
