You could be one of them! Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the industrial mechanical maintenance area and managing a Mechanical Maintenance team. You will ensure achievement of departmental goals—including Safety, Equipment Physical Availability, Costs (OPEX), Overtime Hours Index, CAPEX expenditure, etc.—and compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate teams and oversee activities of the Mechanical Maintenance Department to ensure maintenance of industrial equipment (conveyor belts, crushers, rotary kilns, electric furnaces, overhead cranes, etc.), and fabrication of shells for use in electric furnaces; * Participate in maintenance planning meetings with the Planning team and other departments; * Participate in/conduct failure analyses and monitor maintenance KPIs alongside the Reliability team; * Provide technical support to other plant areas, as appropriate, based on technical knowledge and practical experience related to mechanical equipment maintenance; * Develop the annual and five-year (OPEX) maintenance budget and the Capital Investment Plan (CAPEX) for mechanical maintenance, aligned with company needs and priorities, and manage financial disbursements following approval in the annual budget; * Support the Engineering team in scope specification, development, and monitoring of new improvement projects and business continuity initiatives; * Evaluate direct reports (using Anglo’s evaluation framework) and develop their individual development plans; * Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity policies and procedures. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Preferred: MBA / Postgraduate degree in Project Management and/or Maintenance Management; * Experience in mechanical maintenance management within mining or steelmaking; * Advanced English proficiency; * Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Barro Alto/Goianésia-GO.
