If you enjoy a dynamic work environment, interacting with diverse teams and people while building multifunctional and multicultural relationships, possess an open and collaborative mindset, enjoy working with processes, planning, and are organized and proactive, this position is for you! **Important job information:** * Work location: Brumado \- Bahia * Work modality: On-site * Employment type: Permanent * Working hours: Administrative **Responsibilities:** * Perform welding tasks using the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process, * prioritizing and following instructions from the immediate supervisor to * maximize desired outcomes and meet departmental needs and demands. * Inspect parts to be welded, verifying specifications, positioning, and other details * according to internal procedures and current safety regulations. * Select appropriate welding consumables based on internal procedures and * current safety regulations to ensure welding quality and safety. * Prepare parts to be welded by cleaning them and applying specific products * to minimize spatter, slag, and porosity resulting from welding, in accordance * with internal procedures and current safety regulations, ensuring quality * throughout the welding process. * Check and adjust the welding machine settings according to electrode diameter * and plate thickness, setting amperage and voltage as required by internal * procedures and current safety regulations, to execute tasks per equipment * technical specifications and guarantee quality and safety during welding. * Finish the welded area by removing slag and spatter using grinders, wire brushes, * and other suitable equipment to comply with quality requirements, following * internal procedures and current safety regulations. * Repair production-area equipment as needed, adhering to internal procedures * and current safety regulations. * Support mechanics in preventive or corrective maintenance activities within * the area. * Assist in 6S activities. * Procure materials for maintenance.
