We are seeking technology-passionate professionals to join a dynamic and strategic **Data Center** team, directly contributing to the availability, security, and performance of the company’s technology infrastructure. In this role, you will operate and lead logical infrastructure operations for the **BYD** Data Center, including virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems. The position involves ensuring service continuity, system performance, and audit compliance, as well as coordinating maintenance activities, performing root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents, supporting junior analysts, and ensuring documentation and processes align with the organization’s IT policies and governance.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Lead resolution of Priority 1 and 2 incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures (CAPA – corrective and preventive actions);
* Plan and manage data center capacity expansion, workload distribution, and infrastructure optimization initiatives;
* Supervise preventive maintenance programs and DRP/BCP readiness, ensuring alignment with corporate business continuity objectives;
* Ensure compliance with Tier classification standards and ISO 27001 across all logical data center assets;
* Review and approve configuration changes, maintain standardized baselines, and rollback documentation;
* Develop and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, MOPs, runbooks) and ensure version control in the CMDB;
* Guide junior and mid-level analysts through knowledge transfer, technical workshops, and mentoring sessions;
* Coordinate cross-functional activities with Infrastructure, Security, and Applications teams to ensure full service delivery;
* Evaluate vendor performance, validate SLAs, and approve maintenance reports and warranty-related actions;
* Represent Data Center operations during audits, management reviews, and capacity planning meetings;
* Review KPI dashboards and availability metrics, and propose automation or architectural changes to improve performance;
* Promote a continuous improvement culture focused on zero unplanned downtime and high reliability.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* **Bachelor’s degree** or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Systems Management;
* Advanced knowledge of virtualization, storage, and high-availability system concepts;
* Proven experience in capacity planning, resource optimization, and performance tuning;
* Strong expertise in backup and recovery orchestration, replication, and disaster recovery automation tools;
* Experience with operational audits and compliance with ISO 27001, Tier standards, and ITIL;
* Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills for cross-functional operations;
* **Fluent English** for report writing, RCA documentation, and participation in audits; Mandarin is a plus;
* Excellent organizational skills for managing SOPs, MOPs, and technical documentation;
* Demonstrated ability to lead incident resolution, RCA, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA);
* Desired certifications: VMware VCP, ITIL Intermediate, ISO 27001 Awareness or equivalent;
* Strong understanding of risk management, SLA metrics, and data center KPIs;
* Experience mentoring junior analysts and supporting onboarding training;
* Strong commitment to security, confidentiality, and compliance with corporate policies;
* Ability to coordinate vendors and ensure SLA adherence in critical operations;
* VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) – Data Center Administration or Design;
* ITIL Managing Professional (MP) or ITIL Specialist: Drive Stakeholder Value.

* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
* ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor (PECB / BSI / EXIN)
* CompTIA Cloud+ or advanced server infrastructure certification
* Veritas NetBackup Master Administrator or Veeam Expert Certification
* Automation and scripting certification (Python / PowerShell / Ansible)
* ISO 22301 – Business Continuity Management (integration with DR/BCP)
