You could be one of them! Job Description You will be responsible for conducting medium- and/or short-term geological activities. You will ensure the smooth flow of the drilling process—from planning, including weekly scheduling, through drill hole validation, core recovery, lithological descriptions, development and execution of sampling plans, analytical result validation, and QA/QC implementation—to guarantee an accurate and auditable database. **Key responsibilities include:** * + Develop, monitor, and ensure adherence to the drilling plan aligned with area targets and coordinated with the mine plan. + Assess geological coverage of the mining operation. + Analyze and interpret geological data. Generate geological information and develop/update medium-term models with appropriate mining predictability. + Deliver monthly updated and complete geological databases. + Monitor and support mineral exploration campaigns (drilling, sampling, physical and chemical analyses). + Guide and supervise spot sampling (general tests), density, and moisture sampling. + Provide technical support to the geology laboratory. + Support mining quality monitoring. + Support Occupational Health and Safety management for both internal and contracted personnel, among other duties. Qualifications **Ideal candidate profile for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering with active CREA registration; * Software proficiency (Datamine Studio RM and GDMS, QGIS, Leapfrog, RMSP); * Driver’s license (Category B) preferred; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; * Residency in—or willingness to relocate to—Barro Alto, GO.
