**Job Category** ================ Production & Skilled Trades**Position Summary** ==================== Assist with predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems within Utilities, including electrical panels, routine inspections of substations, electric motors, building infrastructure, and the entire plant’s electrical system—based on maintenance plans and work orders issued by Maintenance Supervision. Assist with technical analyses, interventions, and functional testing to ensure uninterrupted operations without risk to personnel or processes, in compliance with NR-10 and NR-35 regulations.**Responsibilities** ==================== * Support execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on utility systems, assisting with calibration of industrial instruments under technical supervision. Responsible for supporting instrumentation spare parts control, ensuring warehouse organization, inventory turnover, and item availability to improve service order response efficiency and compliance with NR-10 safety standards; * Provide technical support for high-complexity maintenance tasks, assisting with replacement of large-capacity motors, parameterization of frequency inverters, and substation switching operations. Responsible for technical cleaning and upkeep of electrical rooms and panels, mitigating risks of electrical arcing and contamination-related failures. Perform infrastructure assembly (cable trays and structural profiles) and conductor laying, based on interpretation of single-line diagrams; * Assist in executing continuous improvements on machinery by analyzing enhancement needs, preparing drawings and sketches, and submitting them for approval—to optimize performance and reduce maintenance costs—applying 5S principles throughout the maintenance process, including calibration, inspection, and diagnostic testing, to maintain organization and conformity with internal standards; * Assist in integration and assembly of technical components into industrial assets, overseeing functional tests and calibrations to ensure operational performance and reliability. Specialize in diagnosing medium-complexity failures and applying Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) methodologies to pneumatic, electromechanical, and electronic systems—with focus on eliminating recurring failures and increasing MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures); * Conduct systematic inspections in panel rooms and substations (HV/MV/LV), applying technical checklists, thermography, and noise analysis for early anomaly detection. Perform energizing and de-energizing switching operations on medium-voltage systems, ensuring strict adherence to internal procedures and NR-10 and NR-10 SEP regulations—aiming to protect assets and mitigate occupational hazards; * Assist in fault diagnosis and resolution for various types of production equipment within Bridgestone Camaçari’s Utilities area: boilers, compressors, pumps, control valves, analytical instrumentation, and similar equipment. Record all interventions in work orders, detailing activities and parts used, to maintain an updated history and support future analysis; * Assist in assembly and repair of control and power panels, replacing components (contactors, relays, circuit breakers) per electrical diagrams. Perform insulation resistance, continuity, and motor replacement tests, as well as basic parameterization of frequency inverters and soft starters; * Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and materials, and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) energy isolation procedures during all activities. **Minimum Qualifications** ========================== * **Experience**: As an electrician, electrical technician, or automation technician in an industrial setting, with hands-on experience in corrective and preventive maintenance and instrument calibration; * **Education**: Industrial maintenance electrician or electronics course; Electrical Engineering Technician diploma; * **Other Courses/Specific Knowledge/Skills:** * Preferred: NR-10 training, CEP course, PLC and SCADA-related courses; * Basic knowledge of Excel and Word; * Proficient knowledge of instrumentation, technical drawing reading and interpretation, ladder logic, and flowcharts; * P&ID reading and interpretation / Familiarity with ISA 5.1 standard / Analytical ability / Dynamism / Strong attention to detail / Organizational skills / Good interpersonal relationships / Ownership mindset toward the department. **What We Offer as a Company** At Bridgestone, what truly matters is generating opportunities for co-creation while simultaneously encouraging your curiosity and creativity to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for present and future generations.
