




Job Summary: The IT Support Technician provides technical support to internal and external users, resolving hardware, software, product, and network issues to ensure the proper functioning of technological resources. Installation, configuration, and updating of systems and software The IT User Support Technician or IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support to internal and external users, assisting in resolving issues and answering questions related to hardware, software, products, technological solutions, equipment testing and validation, and networks. This professional proactively identifies and resolves incidents to ensure full functionality of the technological resources used by the company and its users. * Conduct on-site support at branches when necessary, as well as via telephone or ticketing system, to identify and resolve technical problems and perform preventive maintenance; * Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and software used by the company, following information security procedures and policies; * Manage the RMA process for equipment, performing diagnostics, triage, and technical registration prior to shipment, replacement, or reintegration into inventory; * Provide internal technical support to departments and branches, including maintenance of computers, wired and Wi\-Fi networks, printers, and Windows operating systems; * Assist users in utilizing technological tools and resources, offering guidance to optimize system usage; * Support the remote support team in analyzing and resolving technical tickets, ensuring response time and delivery quality; * Document technical procedures, support records, and incident reports, contributing to the creation of a knowledge base, an updated technical history, and continuous process improvement; * Participate in projects implementing new technologies, collaborating in requirement analysis, system testing, and support during the transition phase; * Stay up\-to\-date with trends and innovations in the information technology market, seeking to enhance skills and knowledge; * Support asset management, inventory control, and network equipment tracking within the IT department; * Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for improving processes and the company’s technological infrastructure, aiming to increase system efficiency and security.
