Branch Analyst \- Itabuna **About the Position:** The **Branch Analyst** position operates within the cocoa procurement area, responsible for analyzing and managing procurement processes to ensure appropriate quality, quantity, and cost to meet company requirements. The professional will maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, associations, and trading companies, while also conducting market analysis, supplier management, and oversight of buying station operations. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Execute cocoa bean purchases from farmers, agricultural producers, cooperatives, associations, and intermediaries * Ensure payment and receipt of purchased cocoa * Enter purchase contracts into SAP and monitor compliance with procurement and quality procedures * Ensure procurement aligns with company strategy regarding price, type, quality, and volume * Conduct market analysis to identify cocoa procurement opportunities * Manage supplier relationships, including price negotiations and delivery terms * Perform cocoa quality analysis to ensure compliance with company standards * Manage supplier contracts, including renewals and negotiation of terms and conditions * Prepare reports and analyses on supplier performance, cocoa quality, and associated costs * Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Quality departments to meet company requirements * Monitor and control buying station expenses, tracking unit budget execution * Provide administrative support, supervising procedures, physical and accounting inventory controls, and supporting audits **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields * Minimum 2 years of experience in cocoa origination, cocoa procurement, or related areas * Knowledge of the cocoa market * Familiarity with the region and cocoa producers served by the company’s Brazilian units * Strong negotiation, communication, and data analysis skills * Knowledge of contracts, logistics, quality, and supplier management * Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency is considered an advantage * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B) * Willingness to travel and conduct field activities * Behavioral profile: communicative, proactive, organized, resilient, with strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, ownership mindset, and ambition for growth At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity \& Inclusion.
