Mandatory:
* Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Automation, Electronics or related fields;
* Valid driver's license category B;
* Active registration with the professional council;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
* Experience in Asset Maintenance;
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the Maintenance Management Software EquipMaint.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician III
* Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance at power plants and substations, conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and multi-year inspections, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, suggesting necessary actions for compliance, and keeping the Maintenance Management System updated to fulfill the maintenance plan and ensure maximum reliability and availability of assets;
* Monitor commissioning and reception activities of new equipment at power plants and substations to obtain operational release;
* Record defects/anomalies identified during facility inspections in the maintenance management software to keep corrective maintenance planning up to date;
* Ensure proper use and preservation of tools and maintenance instruments for facilities, aiming to maintain safety and company property;
* Respond to emergencies; receive materials and equipment, verifying against invoices, controlling, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining spare parts in good condition, complying with established procedures, suggesting improvements in storage conditions to keep inventory in optimal condition, performing special inspections at facilities, locating and identifying causes of automatic shutdowns to restore equipment as quickly as possible;
* Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and fleet policies, ensuring safety and protecting COTESA's and the client's assets and image;
* Comply with legal regulations and internal procedures, correctly using and maintaining PPE and collective protection equipment, proactively identifying risk situations during activities, proposing control measures to immediate supervisors to ensure health and safety;
* Contribute to the preparation of monthly and technical reports according to engineering standards, submitting them for supervisor review to meet contractual deadlines and legal requirements;
* Provide technical information regarding equipment and system failures and performance, reporting specific data to support analysis by engineering specialists;
* Recognize operational events during working hours or when notified by Operations (such as automatic shutdowns, system oscillations, high-severity alarms, etc.), taking local actions requested by Operations to ensure maximum asset availability;
* Perform local operation at remotely controlled facilities in case of loss of remote operation, following network procedures, operational routines, and local operation instructions to ensure maximum asset availability;
* Contribute to the maintenance of civil facilities to ensure adequate infrastructure for proper execution of activities;
* Foster good relationships with access providers/users, aiming to comply with operational agreements and shared facility arrangements to maintain maximum cooperation among parties;
* Maintain positive relations with the client's local team to align service demands from the client with internal requirements;
* Comply with environmental regulations, guiding other team members to meet current environmental legislation and programs derived from project licensing;
* Participate in executing Contingency Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, implementing necessary actions, and allocating required resources to ensure operational functionality and safety of personnel and facilities;
* Provide support and perform other related professional duties inherent to the position as directed or requested by the immediate supervisor.
* Contribute to planning, coordination, and guidance for team members' activities to ensure safety, work quality, meeting deadlines, goals, and established indicators, while identifying opportunities for improvement in existing processes;
* Execute asset maintenance plans carried out by in-house or third-party teams, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, identifying deviations, suggesting necessary actions, allocating required resources, and keeping the Maintenance Management System updated with service execution data to ensure operational availability of assets;
* Assist in monitoring departmental indicators, identifying weaknesses and inconsistencies, suggesting actions and supporting the supervisor in implementing corrective measures to improve departmental processes and support strategic decision-making;
* Receive and accompany visits and audits from external agencies as directed by the immediate supervisor, fulfilling requests and presenting documents to demonstrate compliance with legal requirements according to established regulations;
* Assist the supervisor in local administrative/financial/accounting tasks (cash handling), complying with financial administrative procedures, contributing to the preparation of entry and exit reports supported by invoices to comply with financial administrative procedures;
* Contribute to the development and execution of Contingency Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, implementing necessary actions, and allocating required resources to ensure operational functionality and safety of personnel and facilities;
* Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications following internal procedures for contracting specialized services;
* Support the development of other team members by guiding task execution, sharing knowledge, reporting difficulties and training needs to the supervisor to enhance team capabilities.
