Job Summary: An accounting professional to manage routine tasks, plan taxes, analyze financial statements, and oversee audits for nonprofit entities. Key Highlights: 1. Develop new workflows and controls for financial security ️ **Your typical day will include:** * Managing accounting routines tailored to nonprofit entities, with emphasis on tax compliance, transparent reporting, and optimization of limited resources; * Acting as liaison with the contracted External Accounting firm, ensuring adherence to deadlines; * Conducting tax planning to optimize exemptions (e.g., Income Tax, Social Security contributions, etc.) and immunities applicable to Third Sector entities; * Analyzing system-generated journal entries, verifying and guiding cost centers and payment groups to ensure accurate Financial Statements; * Analyzing Financial Statements of subsidiaries and headquarters after delivery by the External Accounting firm, and generating annual variance reports; * Monitoring schedules and submissions of ancillary obligations such as ECF, ECD, DIRF, EFD, DCTFWeb, eSocial, and accountability reports to donors and public agencies; * Collaborating with the External Accounting firm on accounting solutions for the Institute—including service provider contracting models, sponsorship and donation receipt processes—with the objective of minimizing tax burden and other related solutions; * Developing new necessary workflows and controls to automate and systematize all possible processes, always ensuring the Institute’s and its assets’ financial security; * Close collaboration with the Finance Department; * Leading the annual external audit process, supporting General Management in selecting the external audit firm, reviewing the draft audit contract and External Accounting agreement, and serving as the main point of contact with other required departments; * Responsible for internal audit, if applicable; * Supporting accountability reporting requirements; * Managing the External Accounting relationship, monitoring the contract’s validity period, directly participating in the contracting/renewal process of the External Accounting firm, reviewing the draft External Accounting contract, and acting as liaison with other departments; * Managing assets by reconciling physical inventory (in coordination with Procurement) against the ERP system; * Developing/issuing relevant departmental reports to support Executive Management in decision-making. **Requirements for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, with active CRC registration; * Knowledge of Tax and Fiscal Legislation; * Proficiency in NBC ITG 2002, tax planning for nonprofits, project-based costing, and regulations such as Law No. 9.532/97 and Law No. 12.101/09; * Knowledge of laws governing the Third Sector; * Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Proven experience as an Accounting Manager; * Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software; * Ability to handle large volumes of data; * High attention to detail and accuracy. **Our Benefits:** ️ **Meal and Food Allowance:** We provide the flexible **Ticket Flex** card, usable for both meal and food purchases at any establishment bearing the Ticket brand.
