Job Description: **Job Mission** Ensure continuity of laboratory activities during team vacations and scheduled absences, guaranteeing accurate and reliable execution of analyses according to established procedures and frequencies. Act in a manner that does not impact production line performance and provide technical support to operations through guidance and training related to quality and process controls. **Key Responsibilities** * Collect samples and perform physicochemical and sensory analyses of raw materials, in-process products, finished products, and water, following established methodologies and frequencies. * Collect samples and conduct microbiological analyses of finished products, water, and air, ensuring result reliability. * Manage non-conformities related to laboratory analyses, including re-analysis of non-conforming products and conducting investigations (ADF and NO). * Develop, review, and ensure correct application of analytical methodologies. * Monitor laboratory supply inventory (reagents, materials, utensils, and consumables), ensuring availability for activity execution. * Record analysis results in spreadsheets and systems, and release or hold products in SAP. * Support the calibration and verification program for laboratory equipment. * Issue analysis reports and certificates. * Perform analyses and evaluations of packaging materials. * Report deviations identified during analyses and support root cause investigations. * Deliver training related to laboratory practices, quality, and process controls. * Ensure compliance with applicable Quality and Food Safety requirements for laboratory activities. * Serve as a support channel and promote safe behavior initiatives. * Act as a multiplier of GMI’s cultural archetypes. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree completed in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or related fields. * Prior experience in the field. * Availability to work as a FERISTA. * Analytical skills. * Knowledge of sensory analysis methodologies. * Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment calibration and verification. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data recording, analysis, and control. * Basic English proficiency for understanding technical documents.
