Summary: Join our client's Technology team as a Senior Data Engineer to maintain and evolve data pipelines, implement new methodologies, and ensure accurate emissions inventory for client companies. Mentor and contribute to technical team development We have an open position for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client’s Technology team. The goal is to maintain and evolve our data pipelines, implement new methodologies defined by our team of specialists, and ensure that client companies always have an accurate and up‑to‑date emissions inventory. MAIN ACTIVITIES: * Maintain and evolve data pipelines, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. * Work closely with the business to translate problems into analytical solutions with defined outcomes. * Perform in‑depth data analysis using SQL and other exploratory tools on platforms such as Postgres and BigQuery. * Propose solutions to business requirements, offering multiple implementation options. * Write scripts to validate loaded data. * Act as a mentor to the team, actively collaborating, teaching, and contributing to the technical development and growth of the group. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python. * Experience with Spark. * Strong experience writing SQL and working with data‑manipulation practices on platforms such as Postgres and BigQuery. * Knowledge of distributed computing and data‑engineering practices, including architecture and handling large volumes of data. * Experience developing and optimizing ETL pipelines, including validation scripts and anomaly detection. * Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems and ensure data quality. * Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical concepts. NICE TO HAVE * Knowledge of the ESG market. * Experience with Google Cloud. * Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer.
