Proficiency navigating Marketing and Communications domains with strong technical capability **Company Description** A globally present company is seeking a Data Engineer / Developer. **Job Description** Your primary responsibilities will focus on the tech domain of development—specifically, implementing, managing, and maintaining various data pipelines and developing process automation solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s current pipelines remain operational while driving continuous improvements and introducing potential innovations through the implementation of frameworks and technology stacks that enhance process quality. It is essential that you possess the agility to navigate diverse business areas—particularly Marketing and Communications—and demonstrate strong developer skills with solid technical proficiency. * Requirements gathering, architecture design, analysis, development, and deployment of projects based on Business Intelligence and Data Science technologies; * Extraction, transformation, and storage of data across multiple layers hosted in the cloud and populated via batch or streaming data pipelines; * Identification of infrastructure requirements for Business Intelligence and Data Science solutions; * Definition of components, integration, and implementation of Business Intelligence and Data Science solutions; * Development of services using APIs; * Design, development, testing, monitoring, management, and validation of data warehouse activities, including extraction, transformation, movement, loading, cleansing, and updating of data. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree or higher; * Solid experience with Python and SQL; * Solid experience creating and maintaining data transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT); * Experience in data analysis and modeling; * Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask; * Solid experience with Apache Airflow; * Solid experience with Apache Spark; * Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (at least one framework from each category); * Solid experience with Linux servers; * Strong knowledge of Linux Shell; * Experience with columnar-model data warehouses (implementation and maintenance); * Experience with dashboard tools (DataStudio or PowerBI preferred); * Familiarity with software development best practices; * Experience with GitHub and version control methodologies; * Experience in software development or related fields; * Advanced technical English; * Self-motivated and self-managed. **Additional Information** * Experience developing microservices; * Experience with **Linode**, GCP, or Azure; * Experience with Docker; * Knowledge of Hashicorp Vault; * Experience with Pentaho; * Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with Digital Media (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, AdWords, etc); * Interest and knowledge in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. * **Employment Type: CLT.** * **Work Format: Fully Remote (100%) or Hybrid;** * Meal allowance (Alelo); * Transportation allowance (if hybrid format); * Culture allowance; * GymPass; * Birthday day off; * Amil health and dental insurance with option to include dependents; * Six-month-and-twenty-day parental leave, including for adoptive parents and same-sex couples.
