Job Summary: A professional to develop and enhance internal products focused on applied AI, websites/portals, APIs, and modern front-end, emphasizing quality and innovation. Key Highlights: 1. Development of internal products with a focus on applied AI. 2. End-to-end work on backend (Java), frontend (React), and databases (SQL). 3. Work with generative AI, crawlers, and sound software engineering practices. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and enhance internal products focused on applied AI and websites/portals, working on interfaces, user journeys, and automations. * Build and maintain Java-based APIs and services, ensuring organization, logging, error handling, and maintainability. * Develop modern front-end (e.g., React/Next.js), including pages, components, forms, tables, filters, and API consumption. * Use SQL for queries, data investigation, and validation of data used in products. * Create and operate crawlers and data collectors, adhering to best practices such as respecting robots.txt, rate-limit control, retries, data normalization, persistence, logging, and traceability. * Integrate generative AI into products (API calls, prompts, response formatting, and implementation of basic guardrails). * Support search-and-generation (RAG) initiatives by connecting knowledge bases, improving relevance, and evaluating response quality. * Participate in the engineering workflow, including Git version control, pull requests, code reviews, basic testing, and concise documentation. **Requirements:** * Prior experience developing backend systems in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and building/consuming REST APIs. * Knowledge of SQL, including JOINs, aggregations, filtering, and data validation. * Experience with modern front-end development using React, Vue, or Angular (React + Next.js preferred). * Experience with Git/GitHub for code versioning, branch management, commits, and pull requests. * Knowledge of crawler creation and data collection, following web scraping best practices. * Practical experience or exposure to generative AI, including API integration and basic prompt usage. **Academic Qualifications:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Data Science, or related fields. **Additional Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with Spring Boot for Java backend development. * Knowledge of Next.js for front-end development. * Familiarity with Docker for creating and running containerized environments. * Basic experience with unit testing. * Understanding of CI/CD and pipeline automation. * Knowledge of application security best practices (basic OWASP). * Familiarity with prompt engineering and formatting AI model responses. * Knowledge of RAG (retrieval + generation), embeddings, and response quality evaluation. * Portfolio or GitHub repository containing complete projects (frontend + backend + database) or documented crawlers. **Benefits:** * Meal Voucher; * Transportation Voucher; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Culture Voucher; * Totalpass; * Profit Sharing (PLR); * Birthday Day Off; * Life Insurance; and more... **Company Information:** * São Paulo - SP * Hybrid work model
