A culture that values openness and new ideas **Learn about this opportunity** **We support diversity and inclusion; therefore, all our positions are also open to persons with disabilities (PwD).** If you focus on customers and innovation; make decisions openly and transparently; appreciate and foster a respectful work environment; work multidisciplinarily, collaboratively, pragmatically, and with a results orientation while taking ownership of deliverables, learn more about our **Logistics Assistant** position. **Important job details:** * Work location: Santa Luz – BA; * Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; * Work modality: 100% on-site; * Contract type: Permanent. **Responsibilities:** * Receive, inspect, identify, store, and distribute materials, raw materials, and finished products according to internal standards and procedures; * Organize and identify batches; update identification labels; cover batches with tarps when necessary; * Support material receipt by performing visual and documentary inspections; * Conduct inspections of bulk bags, pallets, strapping, and steel cables, flagging non-conformities; * Perform loading and unloading of raw materials, including truck loading, tarping, checklist completion, photographic documentation, and inspection reports; * Record weighings on the truck scale and perform cleaning and organization of the scale; * Collect samples as directed by the relevant department; * Support the movement and replacement of bulk bags when required; * Assist in cleaning and organizing the warehouse, storage yard, and operational areas; * Use barcode scanners in receiving, warehousing, and shipping processes; * Support periodic and general stock inventories; * Support forklift operators and other logistics professionals during logistics activities; * Comply with site safety, environmental, and operational procedures, correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE); * Perform other related duties as required by the department. **Required knowledge and skills:** * Education: Completed high school; * Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards; * Organization, responsibility, and attention to operational processes. **Preferred qualifications:** * Driver’s license category B; * Prior experience in industrial or mining environments; * Experience managing maintenance teams.
