Come be Plena with us! **Responsibilities and duties** * Supervise the operation and maintenance of utility systems (boilers, compressors, cold rooms and tunnels, cooling towers, water treatment plant (WTP) and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP)). * Ensure continuous and adequate supply of steam, chilled water, electricity, compressed air, and other essential utilities for the production process. * Plan, monitor, and control preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on utility equipment. * Monitor performance indicators (energy consumption, fuel, water, boiler efficiency, cold room temperatures, etc.). * Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards and applicable regulations (NRs). * Manage the team of operators and technicians, promoting training and development. * Support energy efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability projects. * Follow up on internal audits related to the utilities area. **Requirements and qualifications** * Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related fields. * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields (a plus). * Experience in beef slaughterhouses, focusing on all utility areas and energy efficiency. * Experience with steam boilers, industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia) and (glycol), compressors, and related utilities. * Operational team management. **Additional information** What we offer: * Attendance bonus of 5% on salary. * Meals provided at the company. * Food allowance. * Partnership with a dental clinic. * Free transportation. * Life insurance. * Wellhub. * Discounts at partner educational institutions (undergraduate and postgraduate degrees) and language courses.
