Summary: This role involves timely crane operations, ensuring safety, maintaining equipment, and adhering to company policies and teamwork principles. Highlights: 1. Perform Crane Operations in a timely manner. * Strict compliance with the company’s internal labor regulations, code of conduct, and other internal procedures, and work in accordance with the company’s values and teamwork principle. * Compliance with the company’s labor safety, general safety, sanitary, and industrial safety regulations, and proactive attention to safety matters. * Team-based working, collaboration with various organizational functions as required, and contribution to overall success and improvement of work processes / safety. * Conduct equipment inspection prior to commencement of work. * Immediate reporting of any damage to the supervisor. * Immediate notification regarding any hazards arising during operations, and immediate suspension of work if necessary until the hazard is eliminated. * Immediate reporting of any damage caused by operational equipment during operations. * Maintain uninterrupted operational cycle during operator shift changeover and rest periods. * Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the operator’s cabin and other work areas. * Carry out other loading operations assigned by the Shift Manager or supervisor. * Ensure that the center of gravity is considered and cargo is lifted uniformly during lifting operations of any cargo (including containers). * Report damaged containers to the tallyman and berth supervisor during container vessel handling operations. * In case of discovery of defective fasteners, suspend operations until the container slinging operation is fully completed. * Continuously monitor wind speed; immediately suspend operations if wind speed exceeds the permissible limit for operations and report to superiors. * Suspend work in conditions of low visibility or poor visibility unless a signalman is involved in the operation. * Other operational issues are determined by the respective manager. * Carry out other work-related tasks assigned from time to time, which are not limited to the functions/duties listed above.
