**Responsibilities and Duties**
**The main challenges as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR I – APPLIED PHYSIOLOGY, HISTOLOGY AND ORAL PATHOLOGY, OCCLUSION AND SCULPTURE – ESTÁCIO SÃO LUÍS – TURU CAMPUS AT ESTÁCIO are:**
* Act as the primary agent for implementing our educational institutions’ pedagogical proposals, facilitating the learning process, fulfilling the entire course syllabus and scheduled class hours, and continuously stimulating students’ interest in study, reflection, and the pursuit of new knowledge;
• Appropriately use available teaching materials and encourage students to consult discipline-specific bibliographic resources—including books and journals available in the library—to foster critical and reflective learning;
• Meet all deadlines established in the academic calendar, as well as requests made by your respective course coordinator;
* Record attendance, lesson content, academic activity results, and other information related to curricular components in the electronic gradebook within the timeframe specified in the academic calendar;
* Contribute to preparatory activities for the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE);
* Guide students in their undergraduate thesis projects;
* Employ active learning methodologies and the flipped classroom model when delivering classes.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
**We seek professionals with:**
* Academic qualification: **MASTER’S DEGREE AND/OR PH.D.;**
* Mandatory undergraduate degree/specialization: **DENTISTRY;**
* Strong communication skills, ability to relate to students, adaptability, and flexibility;
* Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the subject matter;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Teams;
* Candidates must possess an updated Lattes CV—this is one of the elimination criteria.
Note: Your preferred assignment will be at the unit where you are hired, and your availability for teaching hours must remain consistent at that unit.
