Technical vocational training preferred * **Job\-ID:** V000011538 * **Assignment Location:** Leoben * **Start Date:** As soon as possible * **Employment Type:** Full-time Your Responsibilities ------------- * Operation of a mobile rail milling machine during Europe-wide assignments with various metro systems (e.g., Vienna, Munich, Barcelona) * Conducting accompanying rail measurement tasks before and after the milling process (e.g., rail profile measurement, eddy current testing) * Performing maintenance and repair work on the milling machine according to manufacturer specifications * Preparing daily logs as specified Your Profile ---------- * Completed technical vocational training, e.g., mechanic, electrician, fitter, mechatronics technician, welder * Initial professional experience in track work is advantageous (e.g., track machinery operator, rail welder, rail inspector, etc.) * Very high mobility and willingness to travel for Europe-wide assignments (including weekends and nights) * Willingness to work night shifts is mandatory * Team-oriented attitude, resilience, and high readiness for deployment * Training as a rail eddy current tester is advantageous (e.g., ET Level 2\) * Willingness to undergo further training and professional development is required * Driver's license classes B and CE are desirable What We Offer -------------- **Compensation and Benefits:** The minimum gross monthly salary for this position (including shift work, weekends, allowances, supplements, and travel allowances) averages €4\.500,00.
