Description

**Job Summary:** Responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on measurement and control instruments in industrial plants, with emphasis on associated electrical systems. Performs calibration, installation, configuration, and commissioning of electronic and electro-pneumatic instruments and devices, ensuring reliability and safety of industrial processes. Serves as technical reference and support for junior and mid-level instrumentation technicians. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance services on automation systems, process control systems, and industrial equipment; * Perform calibration, configuration, installation, and functional testing of measurement instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.); * Interpret and develop technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and instrumentation diagrams (P\&ID, loop diagrams, control logic); * Diagnose failures and propose technical solutions for electrical and instrumentation systems; * Perform commissioning and startup of instrumentation and automation systems; * Ensure compliance with applicable technical, safety, and environmental regulations; * Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as SAP, Maximo, etc., to record activities and request services; * Train and guide less-experienced personnel in executing technical tasks; * Participate in root cause analyses and reliability studies of instrumentation assets. **Requirements:** **Education:** * Technical degree in Instrumentation, Electrotechnics, Electronics, or related fields; * Certifications in NR\-10, NR\-35, NR\-33, and automation systems (e.g., Foundation Fieldbus, HART, Profibus) are desirable. **Experience:** * Minimum of 5 years of instrumentation maintenance experience in industrial environments (chemical, petrochemical, mining, steelmaking, oil \& gas, or similar); * Experience with distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, and smart instruments. **Technical Knowledge:** * Ability to read and interpret P\&ID, electrical, and loop diagrams; * Calibration and maintenance of transmitters, control valves, sensors, and PLCs; * Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (HART, Profibus, Modbus); * Electrical safety in installations and operations (NR\-10\). **Behavioral Competencies:** * Proactivity and sense of urgency; * Analytical and problem-solving skills; * Teamwork and technical leadership; * Commitment to safety and quality.
