Responsibilities and duties * Supervise and (coordinate) all activities of the quality control laboratory, ensuring the execution and standardization of physicochemical, microbiological, and sensory analysis methods for release regarding receipt and processing of raw materials, food additives, technological adjuvants, primary packaging, in-process products, and release of finished products according to technical specifications. * Responsible for validating the plant's sanitation plan, performing qualification tests of chemical product suppliers and utensils used in the industrial sanitation plan, as well as releasing the plant for the start of production processes through pre-operational and operational monitoring with validation via equipment and employee swabs and environmental plate exposure. * Responsible for regulatory updates of all analysis methods performed in the microbiological and physicochemical laboratory. * Responsible for preparing reports and validating external test results received. Responsible for sending samples to third-party laboratories upon customer requests or for validation purposes. * Responsible for updating the laboratory manual. * Lead and develop the laboratory analyst team through scheduled periodic training, ensuring the application of accurate analytical methodologies, compliance with food quality and safety standards, and generation of reliable data for decision-making. * Responsible for analysts' work schedules and participation in selection processes for new analysts to meet the laboratory's technical demands.
