




Job Summary: A mining engineering professional responsible for mining planning, production plan development, and KPI monitoring, with a focus on optimization and cost reduction. Key Highlights: 1. Short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning and new projects. 2. Field validation and monitoring of mining plans with operational teams. 3. Support in preparing the Annual Mining Report and other legal documents. Perform short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning activities—including planning for new mining fronts—and develop production plans, considering equipment fleet variables, investments, ore quality and quantity, to ensure production volumes and processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Validate and monitor mining plans through field inspections, liaising with operational teams to redirect topics and assess adherence to planning KPIs. * Prepare risk analyses for proposed scenarios to support decision-making regarding project advancement. * Monitor and suggest improvements to operational processes for cost reduction (e.g., control of mining dilution, development and optimization of mining recovery, etc.). * Conduct monthly production closing and update the forecast for the projected plan, performing necessary replanning to achieve established targets. * Support or prepare the Annual Mining Report (RAL) and other legally required documents for submission to regulatory authorities or for internal decision-making. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or postgraduate specialization in this field. * Experience in mining planning with practical knowledge of best mining practices. * Understanding of mining regulations. * Microsoft Office suite.
