This person will serve as the technical reference for the area, leading continuous improvement initiatives, project development, performance indicator management, and implementation of new technologies to maximize plant performance. Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Serve as the technical reference for the mineral processing operation. * Develop and implement continuous improvement, productivity, and operational efficiency projects. * Monitor and control production, quality, equipment availability, and utilization indicators. * Lead initiatives focused on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. * Participate in the preparation of production plans, annual budget, and CAPEX projects. * Plan and support major industrial shutdowns. * Conduct technical training and support the development of operational teams. * Collaborate cross-functionally with areas such as Geology, Mining, Maintenance, and Logistics. * Lead strategic projects aligned with the Nexa Way and ESG initiatives. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Mining Engineering. * Experience in mineral processing operations. * Knowledge of crushing, grinding, classification, concentration, filtration, and tailings disposal. * Experience in operational performance indicator management and process control. * Experience leading continuous improvement projects. * Knowledge of budget preparation and CAPEX management. * Experience in technical leadership of operational and multidisciplinary teams. * Experience in planning industrial shutdowns. * Knowledge of mining and high-complexity industrial operations will be considered an advantage. * Willingness to reside in Vazante/MG **Desirable** * Postgraduate degree in Mineral Processing, Ore Beneficiation, or Industrial Management **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to be themselves.*** We are one of the world’s largest global zinc mining companies.
