The professional must perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment, carrying out repairs, assemblies and disassemblies, component replacement, and lubrication. Perform assembly and disassembly of piping systems and minor painting on equipment and on structural elements in work areas to establish optimal operating conditions for the area of operation, contributing to the achievement of production targets, while observing and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Carry out activities according to work orders; * Inspect equipment required to perform the job, assessing mechanical functionality and physical integrity; * If defects are diagnosed, report to the team supervisor any control system issues—such as non-responsive commands—or any abnormalities observed during task execution that could hinder process development, so they may be scheduled for correction; * Perform internal and external manual cleaning of equipment within operational circuits and their mechanical components; * Populate field spreadsheets with process-related data (e.g., motor current, water and tailings pipeline pressure, flow rate, and other process-related parameters); * Carry out mechanical repairs including: assembly and disassembly of motors, pumps, piping systems, screens, welding, cutting of components, assembly and adjustment of gaskets, valve repairs, vibratory screen repairs, and water tank repairs; * Assemble and disassemble mechanical equipment and auxiliary equipment; * Understand the reprocessing system’s operation; * Assemble, disassemble, and repair carbon steel and HDPE piping systems. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed High School education * Experience in industrial mechanic field. * Experience with tools, machinery mechanics, industrial equipment, oxy-fuel cutting, and electric welding **Requirements** **Desirable** * Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electromechanics.
