Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for verifying and controlling workplace safety conditions to minimize accidents and protect workers' physical and mental integrity, contributing to the evolution of the company's integrated management system. The professional will verify and control workplace safety conditions within the company, including administrative areas, observing working conditions and identifying adverse situations, guiding departments toward adopting risk control measures, implementing mitigation measures for adverse conditions, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety requirements, encouraging employees and contractors to continuously improve workplace organization, with the objective of minimizing work-related accidents and occupational diseases, as well as protecting workers' physical and mental integrity during work activities, thereby contributing to the evolution of the company's integrated management system in accordance with SA8000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards, while also considering Kinross guiding principles and corporate values. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise the company's compliance with occupational safety laws and assume responsibility for monitoring areas, behaviors, and risk agents; prepare safety documentation; conduct training; evaluate new projects and changes; verify relevant documentation concerning suppliers and service providers to prevent government penalties and ensure employee and third-party safety; * Monitor and investigate all work-related incidents/accidents, visiting the site, assessing conditions, analyzing the event collectively (with the process manager and other involved parties), preparing reports, and recommending appropriate corrective and control measures based on root causes, following established procedures; * Monitor internal and external audits, inspections, and expert assessments, providing evidence of the company’s performance regarding topics within this role’s scope; * Monitor measurements of physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and ergonomic agents at the facility, visiting areas and liaising with suppliers to ensure compliance with legislation, internal standards, and employee safety; * Execute activities outlined in the Occupational Safety Strategic Plan, as well as programs supporting its implementation; * Develop occupational safety procedures and evaluate achieved results, adapting them to applied strategies to integrate the planned preventive process for worker benefit regarding occupational safety; * Support the organization of discussions, meetings, campaigns, seminars, lectures, workshops, training sessions, and dissemination of educational, pedagogical, awareness-raising, and managerial information, promoting occupational safety and hygiene regulations, technical, administrative, and preventive topics to prevent work-related accidents and diseases; * Provide management with information regarding incident/accident analyses, program progress, and contextual factors inherent to this area of responsibility; * Collect, analyze, and manage statistical data on accidents and other occupational safety indicators, calculating their frequency and severity to adjust preventive actions, develop standards, regulations, and other technical instruments enabling collective and individual protection for all employees. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Technical degree in Occupational Safety; * Brazilian National Driver’s License Category B; * Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** **Salary + Benefits** * Health and Dental Plans (co-payment); * PR – Profit Sharing; * Private Pension Plan; * Life Insurance; * Meal Allowance; * Transportation; * School Kit and Christmas Kit; * Counseling Program.
